I research Cinefable articles carefully, but research does not make any publication incapable of error.
If I get something wrong, the appropriate response is to correct it.
Material Errors
When a material factual error is verified, I will correct it as soon as reasonably possible.
Where the correction materially changes what a reader would understand from the article, I may add a dated correction note explaining what changed.
Minor Changes
Spelling, punctuation, formatting, broken links and similar changes that do not alter factual meaning may be corrected without a formal correction notice.
Updates Are Different From Corrections
An article may be updated because new information became available after publication.
An update does not necessarily mean the earlier article was inaccurate.
Where the distinction matters, I will identify it accordingly.
Conflicting Evidence
Sometimes a correction request introduces credible evidence without conclusively resolving the underlying question.
In that situation, I may revise the article to reflect the disagreement or uncertainty rather than pretend that one account has been definitively established.
Report an Error
If you believe a Cinefable article contains a factual error, please contact me through the Contact page.
Include the article URL, the specific statement you believe is incorrect and, where possible, supporting evidence.
I would rather examine a credible correction than defend a sentence merely because my name is already underneath it.
